Liquid biofuels, such as biodiesel, are produced mainly from vegetable oils and animal fats.
These fuels are of particular interest because they are nearly identical to the petroleum-based fuels they are designed to replace; as a result, they can be easily blended with conventional fuels and are potentially compatible with existing equipment, pumps, and other systems.
Our liquid fuel cubic range, which offers models up to 2 MW, is compatible not only with traditional domestic diesel, but also with all biofuels. All the systems and technical solutions that have ensured great success to this series of products are also confirmed in the biofuel versions, to guarantee the end user the same performance and ease of use to which they are accustomed.
A specifically designed combustion head provides clean and stable combustion, making these burners capable of providing NOx emissions well below the limits imposed by the legislation.
HVO stands for “Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil”, sometimes known as Renewable Diesel. This type of fuel is produced from waste, residue oils and fats. It is also specially formulated to deliver a cleaner burn, and produces significantly lower NOx and particulate matter.
HVO fuel comes in all kinds of blends and it can be used pure (100% concentration) or blended in any ratio with e.g. fossil diesel.
We offer burners specifically developed to operate with HVO, pure or blended.
The cutting-edge features of these burners, combined with the advantageous chemical characteristics of HVO, make this type of products an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative for any heating application.
